The Big Creek Greenway offers a paved route through the Big Creek corridor for walking, cycling and skating. You do not need to cover the whole trail to enjoy it. Pick one access point and plan an out-and-back outing that suits your group.

The official Alpharetta visitor bureau lists access at Rock Mill Park, Haynes Bridge Road, Marconi Drive, Northpoint Park, Preston Ridge and other locations. Its greenway page links to trail maps, so use those to match your starting point to parking and amenities. Rock Mill Park is one practical option when you want a park stop along with a walk.

Before leaving, review current city notices and the latest map, then bring water and give other trail users room. Wildlife can be part of the outing, but sightings vary. For a separate park visit, Wills Park offers playgrounds, a dog park and disc golf; use the city's recreation information for facility details and program availability.

Plan with the official sources

This is an evergreen planning guide. Confirm access, opening times, admission, and program schedules with the venue before visiting.
