Pinkerton Park at 405 Murfreesboro Road combines a one-mile paved walking loop with playgrounds, picnic tables, and restrooms. The Sue Douglas Berry Memorial pedestrian bridge connects the park with downtown Franklin, making it a useful outdoor addition to a downtown outing.
The Park at Harlinsdale Farm offers a different setting: rolling farmland, walking areas, and a dog park. The main entrance is at 239 Franklin Road. Visit the city’s park pages before leaving to check current access notices, particularly if the dog park is the purpose of your trip.
Bring water and choose the park that suits your group. For a planned gathering, consult the city about pavilion reservations rather than assuming a picnic shelter will be available.
