Tuesday, October 6 · West Boca first Good morning, West Boca. A new café at Shadowood gives us something close to home to check out. Tonight brings live music without a cover charge, and this month's calendar has more than the usual storytimes: archery, a night boardwalk adventure, dog costumes and Halloween science. We have also looked ahead to November 5, so you can make plans before the good dates sneak up. | ||||
The Local LeadWest Boca · Food & openings Maman has an announced opening date at Shadowood
EDENS lists Tuesday, October 6 as Maman's grand opening at Shadowood. For the Glades Road and 441 crowd, the French-inspired café and bakery adds a nearby option for coffee, pastries, breakfast and lunch. This is the developer's opening announcement, not our own check that the doors are open. Confirm current hours with the café before making the trip. We are not promoting limited opening-day giveaways whose availability may already have changed. Our Shadowood guide now separates this announced date from the other tenants still awaiting confirmed dates. An announced lease is not an opening. We also corrected Garden Butcher's description: it is a prepared-food market and café, not an exclusively plant-based restaurant.

The WrapThe useful local story is not always a big announcement. Sometimes it is knowing which opening has a real date, where tonight's music is free, or which trail connection will interrupt your ride. If a restaurant, shop or venue has a genuinely worthwhile special or event, send us the details and an image you have permission to share. Businesses do not need to be paid members to be considered. We check the details and choose for reader value. Andres CityApollo · Boca Raton · Your neighborhood, in the know. |
